Story of Myself
I believe in channelling my creative urges in order to produce unique artwork in San Francisco. My inspiration for my work is the miracle of life. Art 490 is born out of a combination of my education, training and experience, which allows my perspective as an artist to remain traditional yet contemporary. Art is how I battle against the indifference of humans and offer new ways of viewing the world.

When I was young I had a dream to become one of most influential artists of the Century. But this was just my imagination. I was interested in graphic design when I was in Junior high school in 2004, before I moved to the United States. My parents hired a computer engineer to teach me some basic graphic design techniques, he taught me some computer softwares. It was mostly just for fun back in those days and we loved to create some weird pictures.
After I moved to the United States, I was fortunate to find the graphic design course in San Marino High School and one of my professors from Texas taught me to develop my skills in Adobe Photoshop. It was hard for me to start in the beginning, because using Photoshop to finish my school projects required a lot of memorization and skill. But I overcame it. This inspired me to become a 2D designer. Soon after, I graduated from San Marino High School. I enrolled myself to Glendale Community College for my graphic design major, and got the Associate of Art degree in Visual Art – Graphic Art. Later on, I started to prepare my transfer to higher education to a university in Citrus College. And before I transfered to the university, my academic advisor in Citrus College told me that I finished my second AA degree of Fine Art in Citrus College.
My art route has been a slow and winding road, but I believe my art classes will create my own path that will lead me to my career goal. There is no right or wrong answer in art. Creativity of art are tasks that requires you to change yourself with your own perspective that influences you to do something more for your future. Dealing with art can be complicated at first. But once you start to learn its language, you realize how to read art. The picture can tell a story or be worth thousands of words.

Each year, my work grows and evolves into something bigger, more interesting, and better. As an artist, there is no greater pleasure for me than finding genuine growth and improvement in my projects. As I have grown and matured, so has my art. Below are some of the pieces I recently created in my studio.
